Emeregency Manangement:Over nine years working with first responders and government agencies, conducting collaborative emergency planning meetings, performing safety surveys and security audits, including Buffer Zone Protection Plan reports for the Washington State Department of Emergency Management, the Department of Homeland Security and local response agencies.Mr. Delon is the principal practice manager and subject matter expert for threat and vulnerability assessments conducted in support of the US Department of Homeland Security. In this capacity, he has developed and implemented a series of threat-sensitive methodologies for state and federal initiatives. He has worked extensively in school safety in support of the only state-wide critical infrastructure planning and mapping system in the United States. For nearly a decade he has collaborated with clients, first responders, community partners and academia throughout the nation to bring about a wide variety of sensitive projects designed to plan for, and minimize the impact of high-consequence events such as terrorist attack, natural disaster and large-scale man-made events. He continues to work within the area of homeland security and critical infrastructure protection, including an array of homeland security-related projects. Paul has additionally developed and lectured on topics ranging from pandemic influenza preparation to the Incident Command System. He is Prepared Response’s primary FEMA representative as it pertains to the National Incident Management System technology evaluation program. Mr. Delon has undergone a multitude of training and/or certifications programs in associated with US Department of Homeland Security, FEMA, ACAMS and related initiatives, including the Incident Command System, Exercise Design, and is PCII (Protected Critical Infrastructure Information) Certified.
