I am a dedicated professional in the built environment sector, with experience since 2021. I have recently completed courses as a Domestic Energy Assessor and Retrofit Assessor, further enhancing my expertise in sustainable building practices.My journey began with RidgeWater Energy, where I played a key role in delivering the Local Energy Advice Partnerships program, and allocating grant funding to support vulnerable households in Dorset. Alongside this, I pursued a postgraduate certificate in Building Surveying part-time, which allowed me to deepen my understanding of construction processes.To gain practical experience, I worked with Chris Norcott Construction, where I developed hands-on skills and shadowed air testing procedures. After completing my studies, I took the opportunity to travel and conduct research for my dissertation on air quality in residential properties post-retrofit works.Currently, I am honing my skills in building surveying, party wall and dilapidations work while continuing to advance my proficiency in AutoCAD. Working with Symonds & Sampson, I am eager to further develop my building surveying skills and prepare for the anticipated PAS2035 changes in October.
