I've always had an interest in psychology and sociology. I've also always had a drive to help others. This led me to my career in behavioral health. I've worked with people who have co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders for 13 years. My passion is to assist people in bridging the gap between surviving and thriving. I value resilience, learning, empowerment, diversity, and integrity. I seek opportunities to enhance the practice of these values.I have provided independent living skills training, case management services, biopsychosocial assessments and collaborative treatment plans, psychoeducation to individuals and families, as well as facilitation of group and individual therapy. I have been a Master's level licensed social worker for the last 5 years. In recent years, I have found myself in valuable opportunities to practice leadership skills along with furthering my clinical skills.
