Automotive Parts Specialist
• Read catalogs, or computer displays in order to determine replacement part stock numbers and prices.• Determine replacement parts required, according to inspections of old parts, customer requests, or customers' descriptions of malfunctions.• Advise customers on substitution or modification of parts when identical replacements are not available.• Receive and fill telephone orders for parts.• Examine returned parts for defects, and exchange defective parts or refund money.• Place new merchandise on display.• Deliver products to wholesale customers.• Monitored and approved stocking policies for Inventory Management System. • Level 1 IT "Power User" - Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems.- Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.- Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support.- Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service.- First and often second level support for IT related problems using Numara’s Track-It software. Problems that were solved have been as simple as resetting a domain password in the windows Active Directory to installing new software and hardware.
