I currently work in the Real-Time Data Center (RTDC) which is part of the research department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. My main responsibilities include maintaining and releasing two of the RTDC's statistical products: The Aruoba-Diebold-Scotti Business Conditions Index and GDPplus. I additionally work with other RTDC staff to produce research papers and as a backup to other data products within the center.

I assisted research department economists with their academic work and helped prepared presentations for FOMC briefings. This role required close collaboration with economists and other RAs. I used my programming (R language), economics, and mathematics skills extensively throughout my time as a RA.

In this role, I worked on a team dedicated to bringing businesses into the Greater Philadelphia region. I researched economic and other statistics about the region to provide to businesses who were interested in locating in the Philadelphia area. I gained experience working with many sources of data including the Census and other government agencies as well as the NETS database.
