I have served as a Technology Coordinator and as a Technology Resource Teacher supporting a large staff in an educational setting for 14 years. I also worked seven years for Apple, Inc. as a Specialist supporting and advising customers. My skills were gained starting with a Bachelor Of Music Education, followed by a Master of Secondary Education and a post-graduate Endorsement in Instructional Technology, and then further refined over ten years as a School Technology Coordinator and Resource Teacher. These abilities have been further enhanced in my position as a Specialist for Apple, Inc.Areas of expertise include both Apple and Windows based systems. I am expert in teaching and supporting productivity and creativity tools and have the unique ability to teach new software as required. I have been responsible for providing support, both for Apple and JCPS, during many major technology rollouts and new program introductions. I have a great depth of experience in maintaining local technology systems in coordination with a district technology office.I have created new curriculum, supported existing programs, implemented new initiatives, and modified older material to meet current needs. I have a strong background in managing communications for organizations, and for organizing, implementing, and overseeing projects from those that are small and short term to those lasting several years and involving hundreds of people.I am a skilled presenter of knowledge. I enjoy chaos and understand how to manage it. I I can plan an event, from an evening out to an international convention, and make it look easy and smooth. I know how to lead, how to follow, and when to get out of the way.
