RISE Flag Football powered by Under Armour is a new youth flag football experience for boys and girls ages 5-15. As one of Under Armour’s premier youth sports partnerships, RISE Flag Football integrates fun, competition, and football skills to build confidence and leadership for youth athletes nationwide.

• Direct assigned Assistant Coaches in the overall planning and execution of the baseball program.• Plan coaching and practice sessions.• Coach team members individually and in groups, and demonstrate game techniques.• Develop and implement game strategy and position assignments.• Oversee the strength and conditioning programs for student athletes.

In 2006, my Avalon squad was victorious in our run for the state championship. In 2009 and 2010 the team won back to back titles with rosters mostly made up of underclassmen. More impressively is the fact the team swept through the '09 and '10 double elimination tournament. Most recently we won the state championship in 2013 and 2014.The baseball team's success has embodied the school's attitude, "Small school, big possibilities." This drive, and determination has helped Avalon players land opportunities to play at all levels of college baseball. The baseball program, which typically graduates 2 to 3 baseball players a year, has produced 14 college signings in the first 8 classes (2007-2014), and one player received a walk-on invite to an Atlantic Coast Conference school.In 2007, I assisted with the establishment of the Old Line Baseball Conference. The conference began play in the spring of 2008, and currently has 5 member schools (Avalon, The Heights, Spencerville, St. Maria Goretti, and HEARTS Home School). I started as the Head of Media Relations, and Webpage Facilitator for the OLBC, but will be the commissioner for the 2013 season.The Black Knights are a stalwart in the OLBC, with four 2nd place finishes and 3 OLBC championships. Several Avalon players have been received All-OLBC awards, and two players have won Most Outstanding Player.In 2010 and '11, '13, '14, and '15 I was voted OLBC Coach of the Year by my peers. I am humbled by this honor, and I accredit this to the support of hard working assistant coaches, and the talented players I've had the pleasure of working with throughout my time at Avalon.In addition to the baseball program, I'm a teacher at The Avalon School. I head programs in PE and Journalism, and have taught Grammar, Vocabulary, Anatomy, and Coaching/Leadership.
