My roles include but are not limited to;- Carrying out community based surveys in local languages on matters raised during different talk shows aired on different local radio stations.- Making transcriptions and documenting reports of different talk shows from local languages to English.- Interacting and keeping in touch, and holding discussions with different members of the community regarding different talk shows that are aired on local radio stations.- Carrying out interviews with various participants in the different programs.

Here I worked on building out frontend mockups and functionality of the Caesar Sustainability ESG data management software. Other roles include the evaluation of the current functionality of the platform and designing and integrating our plan to scale our products over time; advising the company on the appropriate technical and software development needs; and staying in close contact with the company and any potential users to ensure that any issues are addressed in a timely manner.

My roles here include but are not limited to;- Writing clean code to develop functional web applications.- Participating in the entire application life cycle, focusing on coding and debugging.- Performing UI tests to optimize performance.- Managing cutting edge technologies to improve legacy applications.- Gathering and addressing technical and design requirements.- Providing training and support to internal teams.- Building reusable code and libraries for future use.- Following emerging technologies.

My roles included ensuring that I follow the best practices of programming, a test driven approach and continuous integration using CircleCI, TravisCI, proper project management using tools like Pivotal Tracker, JIRA, using version control tools like Git, Github, carrying out peer reviews, among others to produce high quality tested code that meets the right standards of software development. A summary of my work here includes;- Using Python to create Rest APIs for a writer's blogging site, using Django Rest Framework, which API we then consumed using React Redux to build out the frontend of the application that the users would interact with.- Working on some internal products used by the company, and on a particular Travel application I worked with several technologies like SequelizeJS, NodeJS, ReactJS, PostgreSQL, ExpressJS, using Redux Sagas among others to come up with an application that was aimed at improving on the management of staff travels in and out of the country, right from scheduling, booking tickets, stipends, stay, returns to mention but a few.- I also experienced working with diverse remote teams from other countries like Nigeria, Rwanda, Kenya which greatly improved on my remote working skills and communication for example properly managing time and understanding time zone differences, creating a good professional work relationship, understanding the differences in culture, speech, beliefs to ensure that we create a comfortable work environment for every one to thrive and grow.
