A Gender-Based Violence advocate with over 5 years of hands-on experience working with International Non-Governmental Organizations advocating for the rights of women and girls and vulnerable women and girls and humanitarian response in providing excellent professional service in protection and years of experience outside INGO in areas of Administration and education.Supports the officers, senio officer and managers in managing all aspects of the day-to-day programing ofactivities.Assisting in implementing program activities policies, procedures, systems and donor regulations.Providing direct support and care for adults and child survivors of gender-based violence and vulnerable women and girls including counselling and case management.Ensure proper documentation of reported GBV incidences on primero/GBVIMS+Provision of case management services and support.Enlightenment and sensitization of women and girls, stakeholders, partners, service providers and community members on GBV.Organization of activities that will be carried out at the CWC/safe space. (Work Plan)Carry out follow ups with survivors based on action plan.Liaise with other sectors to meet survivors needs.Manage daily field activities by ensuring proper implementation of program activities. Comply and present daily, weekly, and monthly reports to be reviewed by case management officers, managers & coordinator.Assist the senior Case Management Officer in reviewing cases.Ensure all case management documents are properly filed and coded for confidentiality.Provide psychosocial support to GBV survivors and vulnerable women and girls.Participate in the distribution of dignity kits and psychosocial material to vulnerable women and girls including GBV survivors.To inform vulnerable women and girls of their rights as women and empower them with the relevant information they need to become better women with dignity.Co facilitating of GBV trainings to stake holders, local NGOs, WAGs etc.
