Peace Nahyuha is a Ugandan rising star in project management, implementation, research and Monitoring & Evaluation with extensive valuable experience in this emerging field. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Sociology of Makerere University. She also possesses a postgraduate diploma in monitoring and evaluation of Uganda Management Institute (UMI), a bachelor’s degree of Arts in Social sciences of Makerere University and National Institutes of Health (NIH) certificate in Protecting Human Research Participants.She has two (2) years experience working as assistant projects officer in volunteering capacity at Wilsken Agencies Limited where she participated in seven (7) research projects where she gained extensive knowledge sample development and sorting, developing field plans, developing field supervision tools, supervising field activities, project quality control, writing reports, developing budgets, logistics management, processing projects clearances, community mobilization and consultation, training field teams, mitigating protocol violations, data analysis, proposal writing among others . She has also worked for two (2) years as a research assistant in six (6) research projects with reputable institutions including; Makerere University, Westat Inc., Catholic Relief Services, Ministry of Health, John Snow International, Applied Research Bureau Ltd, the World Bank, and Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development, and Uganda National Roads Authority. Her work as a research assistant has broadened her research and M&E core skills and competencies.Peace is computer literate in the packages of Survey CTO, Survey Monkey, Kobo, ODK, SPSS, Stata, Nvivo, MS Word, Excel, power point. She has excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. She is able to work independently with minimum supervision and work under stringent deadlines. She has the ability to think independently, to perform to the fullest and is always willing to learn.
