Reported to 3 CEOs sequentially during tenure as VP. Responsible for global HR function of US subsidiary for FTSE 100 utility company, revenue $800M and 2,500 employees. Created HR strategy to drive business objectives and integrate policy and practice for 3 global business units (equipment manufacturing, operating services) in 8 countries. Developed HR function from grass roots to sophisticated staff of 25, providing regional business support, center of expertise, and global shared service center. Developed and managed $60M corporate budget and $4M department budget. Per UK Board decision to wind down subsidiary for disposal of business units, I decentralized HR, directed transition of HR function, programs, and budget to business unit management control over 6 month period.Key Accomplishments:► Identified first global business system (Workday) and implemented within 7 months and under budget; standardized self-service processes for managers and employees, enabling global processes for annual merits, talent review, and performance appraisals. Cloud-based system improved compliance, management reporting, and accuracy across the business.► Created and implemented 1st Plc Global Leadership Development program, resulting in utilization of behavioral competency models across employee population for consistent talent review and performance management.► Successfully negotiated 5 union collective bargaining agreements for $25M per annum 10 year operating contract. Final terms under budget of financial model and revised work rules towards company culture.► HR lead of due diligence team resulting in 3 strategic acquisitions and 5 divestitures.► Developed 1st US HR and payroll infrastructure that provided savings, management reporting, and consistent HR programs (consolidated 4 payroll/HRIS, 12 health and welfare plans for $2M savings).
