My professional career has followed my personal drive to make a positive impact on the world. In my work I am driven to empower others to identify, achieve, and share their goals. In my work as a consultant, I apply a cross-disciplinary perspective drawing from a variety of fields including chemistry, communications, design, environmental science, monitoring & evaluation, program operations, project management, public health, and strategic planning. To conduct this work, I enjoy collaborating with others, facilitating teams, and developing creative solutions for clients. As a result, clients gain an increased understanding and appreciation of their work, ideas of strength areas and where additional focus is needed, and ways to expand outreach to share their work with others.I hold a M.S. in Environmental Science & Engineering from the University of North Carolina and a B.S. in Chemistry from Penn State University. In 2011, I was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to conduct water quality research at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. I have worked as a consultant for federal agencies including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences since 2012.
