Selected as a candidate of the IBM Consulting by Degrees program, an elite development program for business consultant, I had the opportunity to work on globally integrated teams delivering solutions for companies and government agencies in South East Asia. Apart from project delivery, I am also involved in the preparation of pre-sales materials within the Smart City, Energy & Utilities, Public Transport and Media industry. It has always been my interest to use graphics as a tool to visualize business ideas and concepts. Through hardwork and creativity, I am glad to be part of the winning team for a few contracts.I had also gained exposure and developed new skills by attending key trainings such as Design Thinking, Digital Transformation, Agile for EPH, Lead and Communicate with Impact and Foundation Consulting Program.Being nominated as the CbD Focal, I engaged CbDers within the country by organizing get-together events, brainstorming ways to improve the CbD programme in MY and assisted with the onboarding of new CbDers. Besides being the focal, I also act as an editor of the ASEAN CbD Newsletter Team whereby I performed interviews and research to deliver high quality content for the newsletter. One of the valuable experience that I have gained thus far was to take part in the CbD Global Innovation Challenge in which I gained valuable experience and knowledge, specifically within the logistic and transportation industry.

As a consultant for this pro-bono consulting firm, I had the privilege to contribute in the following projects:1) Create a transformation plan for Lighthouse Foundation2) Develop donor and volunteer engagement strategies for The East West Foundation of India (TEWFI)3) Develop fundraising strategies for School Mentoring Australia (SMA)

I contributed by performing market and data analysis, competitor analysis and value proposition analysis in the sales and marketing department. This allows me to identify the Unique Selling Proposition (USP) and Unique Emotional Proposition (UEP) of Taylor's College.Also, I learnt how to use Mircrosoft CRM to generate leads and to perform cold callings to potential students. I also helped out in the enrollment of new students and organized activities such as orientations, open day and the Taylor's Experiential Program.

Used Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to simulate the movement of a protein through a nano-channel under the action of an electric field (electrophoresis).

I assisted the Technical Risk and Safety Engineering Team in daily project work which include the preparation of HSE case reports. I've gained technical skills (e.g. developing bow-tie diagrams, preparing HAZID and HAZOP worksheet, parts count etc.) throughout the internship.

My job scope include conducting experiments and inspections, performing cost estimations, and preparing the working schedules of technicians. I have developed powerpoint templates to document inspection results, and excel worksheets to manage the shifts of technicians.
