Research Associate
Current- Support decision-making for the Board of Regents, who govern the USG’s 26 institutions of higher education, which collectively serve 326,000+ students, through data collection, conducting statistical analyses, and authoring reports- Address stakeholders’ inquiries through producing benchmarks and memos on topics including: out-of-state enrollments from border counties, course modality trends, tuition and fee rates for international students, workforce development and post-graduation earnings, and out-of-state fully online enrollments - Contributed to the USG’s decision to extend its test score requirement waiver for the 2025-26 academic year by merging USG institutions’ applications datasets with National Student Clearinghouse data to show how enrollment outcomes differed across student characteristics and institutions’ test requirement policies across the 2019-23 admissions cycles- Cowrote the USG’s Spring 2024 Semester Enrollment Report and accompanying brief which highlighted enrollment demographics and calculated institution and system-level trends- Enhance campus operations and strategic planning by facilitating access to the USG’s data visualization tool, Qlik- Participated in and contributed System Office insights at the following Regents Advisory Committee (RAC) meetings: Enrollment Management, Student Affairs, and Institutional Research and Planning
