Hello! I am a senior at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, pursuing degrees in Theatre Education and Theatre Entrepreneurship. My passion for theatre has been a driving force throughout my life, and I am dedicated to making it a central part of my career.My internship at a sexual assault advocacy center allowed me to build connections with numerous nonprofit organizations and highlighted the need for more arts programs in underserved communities. This experience inspired me to bridge the gap between advocacy and the arts, particularly in theatre. My goal is to establish a theatre company that promotes self-expression and provides equitable access and representation for all individuals, regardless of age, sexuality, background, race, body type, or mental and physical health.In addition to my studies, I have been actively involved in the local theatre scene. I've worked as a camp counselor for Camp Broadway at the Tivoli Theatre and serve as the Vice President of Alpha Psi Omega, the theatre honor society at UTC. Through this role, I aim to enhance student engagement and foster stronger connections with local theatre companies.I am also honored to have been nominated as a Solutions Scholar at UTC, where I work as a consultant for the Urban Vision Initiative (UVI). This program supports disadvantaged individuals in developing businesses within the Chattanooga area. I look forward to using this experience to further my entrepreneurial goals and contribute to the theatre community!
