Physics, mathematics, and engineering are my passions. As such, I spent my undergraduate career pursuing a theoretical background in physics and mathematics. However, not wanting to continue on a theoretical path, I have earned my Master's in Mechanical Engineering.I have over 10 years of experience in Metal-forming Press design, and have gained proficiency in areas such as FEA, Vibration Analysis, Gear Design, and Safeguarding (to name just a few). Designing bespoke machinery that fulfills the customers specific needs is very rewarding, and I've enjoyed carrying projects from the early concept phase all the way to final installation. My enjoyment of engineering doesn't end at my career though. I've built a number of customized 3D printers for my own personal hobby use. I don't print a lot with them, and will freely admit that I've enjoyed the building and calibration process the most.
