Seeking NHS laboratory placement in the North West for my 3rd year in order to complete an IBMS registration portfolio and gain the necessary experience to progress my career.I aspire to work with a team of fellow scientists to pursue my passion for biomedical science whilst also helping others in the process.Studying at Lancaster University has allowed to me to further develop my laboratory skills as well as enrich my knowledge of my field.   Four years in the hospitality industry has provided me with a number of useful skills such as working with a team, working consistently in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment, and providing excellent customer service.As one of the first of my peers to start working as a teenager, this experience has allowed me to demonstrate being proactive as well as showing my ability to handle a responsibility.Throughout my time in this industry, multiple employers have trusted me with additional responsibility such as the training of other employees and ensuring the smooth running of operations on a day-to-day basis.
