I am a passionate Mathematics Educationist with over seven years of experience working as a private and volunteer teacher with students in Grades 7-10, specializing in Mathematics subject. Currently I work as a freelance online mathematics tutor in an Edtech platform based in India. Previously I was working in an international school implementing Cambridge curriculum teaching Mathematics for students in Grade 5-10. I was experienced in tutoring students privately to improve their grades and confidence in Mathematics. I started to teach students since in high school studies and enthusiast to teach easy and applicable Mathematical techniques based on my life experiences. I saw many students that have potential in education, but having certain limitations in achieving their dream. This was the reason I continued bachelor study in Mathematics education. Teaching is a way of giving knowledge and the satisfaction of seeing students able to implement their mathematical ability is a life achievement. More sharing means more gaining. That’s describe teaching. Teaching is a profession where you can see the impact of it to the world. That’s what I see through teaching, I able to grow together with students, as they learn, I am learning too. As a teacher, I have chance to spread kindness and giving confidence to students in order to support their success. I still remember my Mathematics teacher in secondary school where she contributed lots of her time to tutor us and believe that we can get good grade from hard work. As a teacher, it really motivates me to create a fun and safe learning environment as she did. I believe that students need love, attention and reassurance to achieve their highest potential according to their characters and needs. Teaching is not only about good grades, but it is beyond of that especially in building students character as they spend most of their time to study, together with their teachers and friends. That’s what I can see through teaching which not many professions out there allowing that. I am also a committed organizations member, experienced in organizing events, programs, and fundraisers. Interest in community development and teaching project. Outspoken, detail, and good team management. All those characters I built by joining various types of organizations including school clubs, community empowerment NGO, youth organization and volunteerism events.
