Peter, a renowned Scottish entrepreneur, founded the award-winning contract catering company Entier, which operates three core divisions: Wilde Thyme, Fresh, and Remote Sites Global (RSG). These divisions provide catering and hospitality solutions both in the UK and internationally. Entier employs nearly 1,000 people and has registered offices in Aberdeenshire, Western Australia, the United States, Canada, New Zealand, and Singapore.With over four decades of experience in the hospitality industry, Peter originally started his career as an apprentice chef and has never forgotten the roots that led him to where he is today. He strongly advocates for the development of young people and broadening career opportunities for people to have life long careers in the hospitality sector. One of his proudest achievements is the Fresh Olive Apprenticeship Programme, aimed at 16 and over school leavers and has already successfully led to two Fresh Olives becoming members of Entier’s leadership team. Peter’s visionary approach to supporting apprenticeships and culinary excellence is an inspiration to the sector. Peter is passionate about investing in the local community and is a strong believer in using local suppliers across all of Entier's business. Peter currently holds several non-executive board positions on a range of organisations including Scottish Chefs, ONE Food, Drink & Agriculture, and is Chair of Hospitality Training Aberdeen. Peter previously sat on the boards of JDRF and Glencraft. Keen supporters of Friends of Anchor, Peter and Entier engage in multiple charity initiatives and sponsorships every year. Recently, in line with our commitment to ‘investing in the communities where we operate’, Entier established a giving program in the Philippines, partnering with Seacrest Maritime to support Concordia Children’s Services in Manila, which aids abandoned and neglected babies from ages of 0-4 and provide them the chance for healthy development while waiting for their future families. Entier’s Westhill office features a state-of-the-art training kitchen and academy, of which Peter is extremely proud. This investment is a testament to Peter’s dedication to encouraging young people to enter the hospitality industry and fostering the future growth of the company.Peter has been recognised by several external institutions for entrepreneurial and industry achievements and is very proud of Entier to have been the recipient of the Queen's Award for Enterprise as well as Platinum Investors in People and Gold Investors in Young People.
