Data Product Manager
CurrentResponsible for ensuring that all data practitioners at JetBlue have access to stable, insightful, and simple-to-interpret datasets using JetBlue's modern data stack. This includes:- Helping to define and implement an overall data product strategy for JetBlue's modern data stack, which leverages a Snowflake Enterprise Data Warehouse, Azure Data Factory, and DBT among other cloud-native tools.- Serving as a subject matter expert for the data stored inside JetBlue's modern data stack, guiding data practitioners towards the correct dataset based on their needs.- Championing the creation of new datasets by crafting artifacts such as Solution Design Documentation and data models that document the technical requirements for engineers, as well as User Guides that educate data practitioners on the intended use for each new dataset.- Working to support JetBlue's data-driven culture by inspiring all JetBlue Crewmembers to consult data when making decisions. This includes onboarding new Crewmembers into Snowflake, teaching basic how-to functions, and connecting them with other data resources at JetBlue. - Amalgamating corporate strategic interests, new data sources, and the demands of JetBlue's operation to understand what data blind spots exist in the organization, and creating curated datasets to close these gaps. - Reviewing Snowflake usage data to understand what areas of JetBlue are using Snowflake, what areas could stand to use it more, and how the operations JetBlue's data practitioners are undertaking perform inside Snowflake.
