Development (preparation, characterization, and optimization) of hydrogel nanoparticle formulation for sustained, intravenous delivery of small molecule drug. The PharmD dissertation/research project resulted in a novel nano-cell composite drug delivery system composed of hydrogel nanoparticles and human red blood cell (erythrocytes) which was designed for the delivery of sodium valproate (antiepileptic agent).
