I am (Amin Abbasi) an Earthquake-Seismology Researcher in the Research Center for Earthquake Precursors (RCEP), Institute of Geophysics, University of Tehran (IGUT), from May 2011, Tehran, Iran. Together with my colleagues, performed the Research project and presented Preliminary report "Site Selection of Earthquake Precursors' Observatories in Tehran region, Barge-Jahan trial Action Plan", IGUT/RCEP, 2015.My interests are Research-Scientific Ideation, Earthquake -Genesis, -Precursors, - Instrumentation and - Early Warning System, Pre-Earthquake Signals, Seismicity-Tectonics, Seismic-Volcanic Interactions and Mechanisms. I graduated in Geophysics: Earthquake - Seismology, PhD degree from International Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Seismology (IIEES), 2010, Tehran, Iran.During doctoral studies, together with team-working colleagues of IIEES at 2006, We installed 46 portable seismic stations in the local temporary seismological network for 4 up to 6 months of recording the micro-earthquakes in the Central Alborz successfully, Tehran area, Iran. I studied and calculated some scientific-technical requirement such as Crustal Velocity Structure of the east of the Tehran region, seismic selected stations, basic thresholds, regulations and specific targets for an ordinary Earthquakes Early Warning System. Then, I proposed and presented the same modified Idea: Earthquake Alert (Early Warning) System of Tehran (abbreviate as EAST) at 2007 in Ministry of the Interior (MOI). After registering it, approved by Iranian Documents and Inventions Registration Organization as Patent No: 79618 – 1392/03/12 (June 2, 2013). The idea is certified in the First International Festival of Inventions' Grand Prize in Iran, No: 0819162121 – 19th Aug 2016, also.The lessons learned many things from earthquake experiences in the Iranian territory in time span that I work in the Natural Disaster Management Office (NDMO), Ministry of the Interior (MOI), 2003 up to May 2011, Tehran, Iran.I studied and presented the National Comprehensive Guide Plan for Natural Disasters Management in the country (Iran) and the provinces as its subdivisions, MOI-NDMO, Tehran, Iran, 2009.

During this period of the association's board of directors, we established the Petroleum Geophysical Exploration Iranian Geophysics Conference and held the first and second in Tehran at 2013 and 2015, respectively. After the end of the 5th Board period, in 2016, I personally registered the society's journal in the Scopus scientific citation database, which by pursuing the association's colleagues has been indexed in this scientific database from 2019.In the 5th Directions time span, we got one of the most successful managements and achieved main parts of the most important goals of the association.
