Supply Planning Optimization – Led HP Personal System’s new supply planning optimization engine• COVID drove unprecedented supply and demand imbalances. In response, a mixed-integer goal program optimization engine was developed that allows HP to provide implementable supply plans to manufacturers. • Generated innovative analytics that reveals high-impact opportunities for further constraint mitigation and demand shaping. The optimization engine is unique in the flexibility and speed with which it can be expanded and tuned to account for evolving business logic and multiple objectives. Data Science- Created scalable framework to calculate large sets of correlations & regression models. • Developed multi-dimensional heat maps to visualize & communicate insights of billions of combinations of statistical measures resulting in efficient data discovery and decision trade-offs in an executive dashboard.Network Optimization-Led several cross-functional network design and routing investigations often presenting directly to the VP & SVP level. Analyses considered end-to-end costs including inventory optimization.• Formulated a novel container routing algorithm delivering $1M+ savings / yr. while reducing congestion.

• Led the re-invention of how Sensing creates ASCM’s Top 10 Supply Chain trends report through a repeatable process. The report is a result of a seven-month process to identify the trends consisting of extensive literature review, topic extraction, and discussion, as well as a rigorous scoring methodology.• Presented Top 10 Supply Chain Trends to ASCM’s Corporate Advisory Board 2019 & 2020 meetings. • The report has contributed to ASCM being a recognized as supply chain thought leader through extensive media coverage, including Forbes, as well help to shape the ASCM’s mission and strategic planning.

Supply Chain Analytics- Led validation efforts of two-year industry research project for Kimberly Clark’s largest distribution center in Latin America.• Project combines optimization with Predictive Control Simulation (PCS) for real time distribution center operational analysis that aims to increase capacity up to 25% without additional resources.• Investigated scope of implementation and possible extensions of Predictive Control Simulation model.• Interfaced between South and North American team members during 1-month visit to Brazil.

Operations Research- Proved the impact of data integrity upon Intel’s large-scale optimization engine.• Identified scenarios in which limited cost data hindered engine’s ability to make supply chain decisions. • Formulated prediction algorithm as a proof of concept of increased data integrity upon future ERP.• Gathered stakeholders to validate new optimization decisions that immediately resulted in a savings of $1.1 Million dollars in net present value.

Operations Research- Developed a WIP sequencing algorithm that maximizes parallel processing ability.• Realized current efforts were ineffective and drove project beyond original scope using creative techniques• Potential run rate increase of 7-15% has been identified.Supply Chain- Introduced a Heuristic Programming model to efficiently manage commodities ordering and deliveries to increase maintenance efficiency and reduce cycle time. • Organized meetings to negotiate improved SLAs that reduced average delivery time contract by 50%.Lean Manufacturing- Led new effort to minimize consumables cost, departure rate variability, and increase throughput by researching decision variables. • Created a real time tactical capacity model to be used by process engineering and manufacturing.

Efficiency Control- Assumed role of assistant product engineer for production testing of devices. • Tactically monitored yields, failure analysis, schedules, inventories, and shipments.
