As a SRE lead my main responsibilities were:- Ensuring the robustness and scalability of the platform. - Guiding the team on their daily challenges- Providing technical mid/long term vision.- Growing the team in people and helping the team members to grow professionally.Working, among others, with; Google Cloud / Azure and with technologies like Containers (Docker, containerd), Kubernetes, Elasticsearch (ELK stack), Jenkins, etc...

Working at Mercadona Tech rebuilding the e-commerce of Mercadona. Delivering a robust and scalable foundation to to the success of the project. Working on Google Cloud and with technologies like Containers (Docker), Kubernetes, Elasticsearch (ELK stack), Jenkins as the CI/CD of choice and many others.

The role at Tieto consists of help on the operational side on projects. We work helping customers to successfully implement e-commerce solutions and digital transformation (CommerceTools, SAP Hybris, etc...) in an modern way. Using DevOps practices and agile methodologies.

Since about April 2014 I (First partially, and in 2015 fully) joined Service Operations (DevOps) team and I have been sharing my tasks between Service Ops and QA teams. Nowadays I still perform some QA for the back end team.In Service Operation team we take care and guarantee that all systems are reliable and can scale to fulfil business needs. During the journey we learned priceless scalability knowledge. We work in a fast pace - agile environment with a mix of Kanban/Scrum/Scrumban teams.In addition to the core business we also maintain and develop our incident management process, change management process and we spread DevOps practices around the Engineering team. Typical toolset: AWS cloud, Debian based distribution (Ubuntu - GNU/Linux) server administration, Bash (Shell scripting), Chef, Ruby, Python, PHP, Git... Also we maintain several stacks like our logs digest (ELK stack, elasticsearch, kibana, logstash)Our monitoring stack with Influx DB as time series DB and grafana for the graphing. Our SAP for financing (Win + SQL). Our monitoring framework with Nagios and several in house checks.

During March 2015 I expanded my responsibilities by officially joining the Service Operations (DevOps) team in Kiosked. My newer responsibilities will live along the QA one since QA and Service Ops. are quite close each other in a company that believes in the DevOps culture. Newer responsibilities and tasks are:- Maintain and further develop our orchestrations (change management) systems (Chef, Ansible...)- Maintain and increase the performance of our cloud infrastructure, AWS. - Develop and maintain a newer alerting system based on Nagios and custom notifications with Nagios-HeraldIn addition to the mentioned above I am also responsible for the unification of the development platform by integrating and developing all the configurations needed for the Developers to deliver faster and more reliable with the combination of technologies such as Vagrant, Orchestration management and virtual machines. Technologies that I am very confortable with in this new role are: AWS (and all the dev. sdk such Boto for python, or de the ruby sdk), Python, Ruby, Chef, Ansible, Bash, MySQL, Nagios, Nagios-Herald, Redis, ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana (ELK stack), PHP, Packer, Ubuntu, Debian, Git, Gitlab, Mac OS X, EMR, Hadoop.

When I joined Kiosked Oy. in October 2012 my main task was to set up an automated high level testing environment (acceptance test) using the open source technology Sikuli. As a result we built a combination of Sikuli and Selenium that allowed us to fully control and detect design flaws and UI bugs. The automation of the project also helped to have more control over the release process allowing us to detect possible issues before deploying to production environments. In addition to this project I've been checking developers tasks in order to help them to detect possible errors or misinterpretations of the tasks description. A side tasks for me are: maintain and deploy jenkins infrastructure, implement and deploy useful QA tools for developers and for managers such as SonarQube, Git server, Coverage, CheckStyle, QA metrics and so on. Since about April 2014 I also joined DevOps teams and I've sharing my time with them. There I've been developing and solving scalability issues. Due to our huge growth loads of scalability measures needed to be taken. Technologies and languages that I am very confortable with: Java, PHP, Python, Scripting in Bash, Ruby, Chef, Amazon AWS, SonarQuebe, Jenkins, Git, Subversion, Testing, TDD, BDD, Agile, Scrum, Kanban and Scrumban.

Sulake gave me a great opportunity letting me do my bachelor thesis on their Headquarters. "Case Study to evaluate the feasibility of using of "Sikuli" in the company Sulake"After that, they offer me to stay with them helping them into the documentation and creating the example game that was use for the documentation (https://dev.habbo.com/tutorials/Tutorial/Tutorial) of their 3rd party developer program and their brand new API for 3rd party games.
