About Pedro Arredondo

I am a highly motivated petroleum geologist with 10 years of experience. I began my career with Occidental Petroleum Corporation/California Resources Corporation as a geoscience clerk scanning documents and data entry and within a year I was promoted to a geoscience technician. I was promoted several times and eventually became a geologist, and concurrently attended Cal State University of Bakersfield to earn my degrees. Gaining experience in these positions allowed me to develop strong interpersonal communication skills and taught me how to excel in team environments. I also learned the importance of fostering a strong growth mindset and strive to develop more skills personally and professionally. I have a strong background in data analysis and relational database software applications, field and reservoir management and development. I am proficient in Petrel, Decision Space, ArcMAP, Spotfire, 3DSL, OpenWorks, Open Wells, IHS Kingdom, DSS, Power Explorer, Easy Copy, Blue Marble, Office Suite and more.
