Maintenance Planner
Current• Constantly review and monitor aircraft utilization to ensure maintenance forecasts are accurate. • Review completed maintenance items to ensure MEL and DMI items were complied with or rescheduled within time restrains.• Monitor aircraft with MEL and deferred defects requiring parts, tools, equipment and personnel to ensure timely delivery when and where required.• Together with Crew scheduling team, ensure adequate and suitably qualified support manpower is dispatched where local resources are not available to carry out maintenance required within the scope of SOCC.• Having global visibility of crew and logistic capacity, develop planning strategies to advance or extend (where required) maintenance tasks or replacements as required to maximize on-time performance, availability and customer service level.• Liaise with the Technical Support Group, local and regional maintenance planners to develop best practices and identify the most efficient solutions to planning challenges as they arrive..• Review related publications for amendments and respond as required and related to SOCC functions.• Other duties as assigned by SOCC manager.
