Managed multiple projects to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of P&G’s processes to support its 120,000 employees operating in over 80 countries, focusing on travel and expense accounting (650,000 reports / year). Led globally-distributed project teams consisting of 9 Regional Operations Managers in North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, reporting to the Global Service Manager and Global Program Manager. Executed complete redesign of issue resolution system for over 3,000 expense-related calls per month. Interviewed managers from regional operations and call center vendor to define issues, mapped processes to identify gaps, benchmarked data-mining best practices from internal and external (KNIME) groups, and designed new structure that cut classifications 484 to 183 (62%) while increasing reporting capabilities. New model facilitated reporting via executive-level dashboards that had been rendered effectively useless by inaccurate legacy structure.Designed an innovative system that enabled users to search a repository of over 20,000 documents for the answer to expense-related questions (e.g., how to reinstate corporate credit card). Utilized KNIME text-mining tool to create database of answers to historical questions and created new web-based search tool to rapidly find answers. Presented prototype to Employee Services Division IT Director, who viewed the tool as a major opportunity to shift to a self-directed help model, potentially delivering major (multi-million USD) savings in vendor costs and staff-hours.

Monitored security of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) communication / data network, the world’s second-largest network (behind the internet) used by the FAA, U.S. Military, NASA, and all major airlines to conduct flight operations. Coordinated investigation of threats and recommended responses to Harris Engineering Leadership and Federal Security Teams. Developed and presented internal improvement initiatives to C-level executive team.• Developed and implemented a security dashboard that aggregated incoming threat data into avisual interface. Gathered business requirements from Engineering and Security teams, incorporated feedback into dashboard design, and delivered a tool that quickly identified and prioritized over 5,000 attacks to the network per minute.• Conducted detailed analysis of millions of individual low-risk threats to assess cumulative impact. Discovered that a series of small attacks that were thought to be unrelated were actually part of a much larger combined initiative. Presented insights to Engineering Manager and was directed to deliver findings to Federal clients, which generated a large-scale investigation and remediation plan that prevented catastrophic damage to the critical network. • Led a team of 6Engineering Interns to design a company-wide green initiative as part of an internal competition. Coordinated development of proposals (employee incentives to reduce energy consumption and utilization of solar panels in parking lots)and delivered recommendations to a panel consisting of the CEO, Executive VP, Regional Directors, and Engineering Managers. Awarded 1st place out of 7 teams by executive panel.• Liaised directly with Federal clients, providing concise and highly informative reports / presentations of mission critical findings. Actions improved client perception of company brand and quality of service.• Completed extensive training in security tools, audit systems, and network architecture.
