The responsabilities of an FX & Derivates Trader Trainee at an ALM/Interbank Desk include performing and providing support to the following activites:- Cash Position Oversight: Manage daily cash balances and liquidity in BRL and foreign currencies to optimize the bank’s short-term cash flow, ensuring efficient day-end settlements and accurate forecasts for the following day.- Market Risk Management: Monitor and control exposure to various market risks, including fixed-rate, FX-linked, and inflation-indexed positions, ensuring the bank's portfolio stays within defined risk limits.- Foreign Currency Liquidity & Funding: Strategically manage the bank’s foreign currency funding and liquidity positions, ensuring sufficient resources for ongoing operations and compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.- Loan & Funding Pricing: Determine pricing for loan and funding products, including working capital, private bonds, debentures, CDBs, and CDIs and deposits, balancing competitiveness and profitability.- Sovereign Securities Portfolio: Oversee the bank’s investments in government bonds such as LTNs and LFTs, managing the portfolio’s duration and yield to optimize returns.- FX & Structured Product Pricing: Price FX Spot, FX Forward (FWD), and Non-Deliverable Forwards (NDFs) for USD, EUR, JPY, GBP, and CNH. Handle non-flow operations, including swaps and structured transactions with intragroup entities.- Regulatory Compliance: Manage compliance with key regulatory metrics such as Thin Capitalization, LEC (Legal Lending Limit), RWAs, LCR, LOC, and Resolution 4662, ensuring risk is controlled and regulatory requirements are met.- ALM Committee Contributions: Share market analysis, economic updates, and strategic insights during the ALM Committee contributing to the bank’s asset-liability management strategy and market positioning.
