At Ingress On (now Onik), I played a key role from the company's inception. We initially started as a ticket sales system, but later pivoted the business model to become a comprehensive management system for bars and restaurants. One of my main highlights was the development of the entire fiscal system, which is still in use at Onik today, covering everything from accounts payable to issuing electronic invoices (NFe and NFCe).This module was crucial for the company's growth, given the complexity of Brazil's tax system, one of the most challenging in the world. Automating the fiscal process significantly reduced the need for a large accounting team, lowering costs and enabling Onik to expand and serve larger, more complex clients.Additionally, I participated in the development of Onik's mobile apps, both the client app and the service app, which gave me valuable experience in mobile development, an area I hadn't explored before. By addressing issues like performance bottlenecks in certain parts of the app, I gained deep knowledge in optimizing mobile applications to ensure a smoother user experience.

As a mid-level developer at Totvs Supermercado, I had the opportunity to take on various responsibilities in my first experience working for a large company. In this role, I collaborated with some of the largest retailers in Brazil, assisting them with critical aspects of their operations.One of the key projects I contributed to was for the client Casas Guanabara, where I played a central role in developing tailored solutions. This project even took me to Rio de Janeiro to personally present the solutions we had created. Although I was initially focused on customizing the Totvs ERP, the scope and complexity of the Guanabara project required us to build an almost entirely new ERP. I was responsible for migrating a significant portion of the legacy (desktop) ERP to a more modern and efficient web environment. Throughout this process, I gained deep knowledge of critical business areas such as Inventory and Purchase Orders, which challenged me with their technical and operational complexities.At Totvs, I also embraced the challenge of working with legacy technologies like Centura, and I delivered high-quality results in this area. Simultaneously, I honed my skills in modern technologies like Angular, integrated with the PO UI framework developed by Totvs, which expanded my technical expertise and strengthened my adaptability to different development environments.

My first job was in the Army, where I quickly stood out for my technical knowledge in both programming and networking. This led to my assignment to the IT section, responsible for the entire network infrastructure of the battalion. In this role, I performed a variety of tasks, from developing PHP applications (the technology used at the time) to meet the organization’s daily needs, to planning and implementing the battalion’s network. One of the key projects was the visitor control system, which efficiently managed all entries and exits from the battalion.I was also responsible for computer maintenance, which allowed me to deepen my knowledge of Linux—an expertise that would continue to support me throughout my career as a developer.During my time in the Army, I had the opportunity to complete a specialized course in Linux servers at the CTA (Army's Integrated Telematics Center). I fully embraced this opportunity, and soon after finishing the course, I applied the acquired knowledge with the deployment of a new server for the battalion.

During my time in the Brazilian Army, I also worked as a Mid-Level Developer at Comeia, a startup in the interior of Pernambuco. In this role, I contributed to an important project for the state government called PE CONDUZ, a program that provides vans to transport people with disabilities to their medical appointments.My main responsibility was developing the vehicle fleet control dashboard, where I gained valuable knowledge in integrating Google Maps with tracking systems. I also worked on the routing system, utilizing third-party APIs to optimize vehicle routes, saving both fuel and time for drivers—an essential factor given the challenging traffic in Recife, a metropolis with high congestion.Additionally, I was involved in the development of the driver application, which used NFC cards to confirm the boarding and disembarking of users. This solution increased operational efficiency and ensured that users were in the right places at the scheduled times, offering more reliability and effectiveness to the service.
