Since I finished my undergraduate dregree in Chemistry I was able to give my contribution to different projects in the field of Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical biology. From this contributions I was able to learn several several skills and actively contributed to the work described in more than 13 publications, some of them at the higher impact Journals in the Med Chem field (selected publications). I worked in academia until now (Master degree, Fellowship researcher and PhD research - together counting more than 7 years), however, in the recent years I contaced with reasearchers from industry and allowed me to broad my horizons.Before starting my PhD I aquiared skills on organic chemistry and drug design. During my PhD the skils I previouly acquired were further developed (organic synthesis and drug design using SBDD and FBDD approaches and aplication of relevant Medicinal Chemistry metrics such as: LE, LLE, lipophilicity and binding kinetics) and acquired new skils in compound biophisical binding evaluation (Ligand observed NMR, Thermal Shift (DSF), ITC, SPR, FP and basic knowledge on protein purification and X-ray crystalography). Together the skills I acquired in the different projects and teams I worked with made me ready to face head on the new challenges that I can face in the future.
