I was working 23 years in Telefónica as Chief Technology and Information Officer, a long way with different roles in different countries. I´m originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina but currently lives in Lima, Peru, with my wife Mercedes.The career began in infrastructure at Mulicanal in Argentina. From there I moved on to senior leadership positions at CableVision, then Media Network in Peru. Working with companies such as CTC in Chile, TELESP in Brazil, Oi in Brazil, I was able to build a strong foundation and professional network in the Broadcast television and satellite communication. In the 2000´s I was in charge of a construction of fiber networks all around Argentina and Peru reaching more than 1000 Km installed. All so with more than 15 years of experience in the Pay TV business was in charge of reengineering process related to the entire TV organization in CableMagico and CableVisionIn 2006, I became a pioneer in the develop a Wholesale Satellite Television service starting in Peru and extended to Chile, Brazil, Colombia and Venezuela reaching over 2,4 MM customers and 400 MM dollars f investment. The pushing economy of the region is driving a very fast growing of the platform over 200K new boxes every month, that’s makes challenging the evolution of the platform for sustainabilityIn the last years I was involved in the evolution of the mobile to 4G carrier aggregation, gigabit LTE, etc in Peru challenging the number of sites that we deploy every year, with growing over 90% year to year. The “end to end digitalization” project is the fullstack implementation for 30 MM customers, with a big challenge during the migration process, the first stage was the mobile, with 27 MM customers done. The challenge is big because the real digitalization comes when all the OSS and BSS are full integrated and this involves 50 projects running in different stages.
