About Pedro Mendes

I have been working in Portugal since 1988 as a programmer in the databases area.From 1991 to 2000 I worked with AS400/Cobol400.From 2000 I have been working with Linux, Perl, Informix, MySQL and since 2012, also with PL/SQL, Oracle and Ruby language.In 2023 I started to work in AWS Cloud, programming with Python and using MongoDB database.I have extensive experience in programming, primarily in the area of data processing.I have thorough knowledge of the SQL language, PL/SQL, Perl, Ruby and Python.I have reasonable knowledge of the Linux operating system. The distribution I usually use is Ubuntu.I am also familiar with Windows.In recent years I acquired experience in the Oracle database over Exadata, particularly in PL/SQL, and Ruby language.With the experience and knowledge I have acquired over the years, I know it is very simple for me to learn any language on any system.
