About Pedro Pires

Hi, I'm Pedro, a UX Researcher with a Ph.D. in Sociology. My passion is to investigate problems through different perspectives and design the best possible solution. I have experience working in education and research institutions. Designed, conducted, and managed research projects. Published articles, book chapters, and translations. After two Master's theses and a Ph.D. dissertation, I realized that thinking about problems is not enough. I want to help to design solutions. A revealing encounter with design-thinking and system thinking approaches showed me that UX Design and User Research is what I am looking for.
