Researcher, engineer, and materials scientist with a background in mechatronics and former professor in the field. Currently serving as a Senior Product Engineer, I leverage my expertise in mechatronics, materials science and engineering, bioengineering, and microfabrication to conceive and develop innovative medical devices. My responsibilities center on designing (2D for lithography process and 3D for fully integrated devices), microfabricating, and characterizing microfabricated and implantable devices (covering electrical, mechanical, electrochemical, and simulated physiological conditions).Throughout my doctoral studies, I made significant contributions to various research endeavors, resulting in multiple publications and patents spanning medical devices, bioelectronics, 3D-printing, and stimuli-responsive materials. As a former professor in Mechatronics (spanning 9 years), I specialized in courses focusing on automation, robotics, sensors and actuators, and CAD/CAM. With a progress-driven work ethic and a philosophy centered on creative problem-solving, I believe that complex issues necessitate multidisciplinary solutions. My diverse background enables me to collaborate effectively with electrical and mechanical engineers, computer scientists, material scientists, and neuroscientists.My research goal is to advance the field of modulus-changing bioelectronics, which holds promise for developing chronic implant components capable of adapting to the dynamic physiological environment. I am motivated by a passion for creating novel devices with the potential to significantly improve the quality of life and health outcomes for patients.
