Working along with critical to quality suppliers to eliminate product failures and promoting win-win situations. Closely supporting Sales Department on major Customer accounts.

Quality Engineer and TS Management Representative: Managing four Quality Technicians, Metrology Laboratory, Gage Manager and Quality Assistant to maintain and continuously improve our processes. Support manufacturing and product engineering, APQP process, Control Plans, In-process inspection sheets, PFMEAs, instructions and training. Responsible for maintaining TS 16949 Certification, Internal and External Audits, Corrective Actions, Quality Communications and Charts.

Dimension Bond Quality Manager: responsible for maintaining ISO9001:2000 certification in Dimension Bond Corporation. Coordinate Quality Technicians and Inspectors, Internal and External Audits, Quality Documentation maintenance and implementation such as Control Plans, FMEAS, Work Instructions PPAP’s, PSO’s, Engineering Reports, 5S, corrective and preventive actions, Management Review and Training. Responsible for devices calibration. Orion Industries Quality Manager: Implement ISO9001:2000 from scratch in Orion Industries to obtain Certification

Responsible for day to day operations: Scheduling production, control of forecast and inventory, coordinate personnel, hire and train new employees, contact customers and suppliers and guarantee customer satisfaction: Zero rejects, 100% on time delivery.Quality Manager: responsible for maintaining ISO9001:2000 certification. All surveillance audits passed with zero non-conformities, last surveillance audit: April 2005.Project Manager/Engineer for new products: responsible for the implementation of new manufacturing lines, coordination between sales, engineering, R&D, laboratory, machinery design and construction and customers. Analyze the viability of the product. Implement quality documentation such as PPAP, QAV, PSO, Work Instructions, Engineering Reports, 5S and continuous improvement of the process(es).

Implementation, maintenance and update of QS 9000 and ISO 9001:2000 Instructions, Procedures, Control Plans and other Quality Documentation.Actively involved in the migration to ISO 9001:2000, successfully passed the upgrade audit.Member of the internal Audits and successfully passed two QS 9000 surveillance audits.Develop new software to substitute the hard copy manuals for electronic documentation increasing efficiency of editing, auditing and document control, Develop new software for SPC Data Control and e-mail alert for calibration expired gages.Responsible for calibration status of inspection, measuring and test equipment. Quality Assurance with zero customer rejects.Continuous Improvement of the processes to increase the production up to 60% by analyzing and eliminating root causes and bottlenecks of the processes.R&D new solutions, materials and processes. Design new components, parts and layouts for prototype machines. Help with maintenance to keep the machinery working at full capacity.
