Some of my roles and responsibilities:• Oversee the entire design development process, from concept to mass production, while ensuring project timelines, budgets, and resources are effectively managed.• Conduct technical presentations to clients utilizing 2D concepts, rapid prototypes, color, material, and finish designs (CMF), technical graphics, 3D models with high-quality surfacing, and lifelike renderings.• Utilize quality assurance engineering tools such as Design for Manufacture (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and 8D (problem-solving methodology) to ensure high-quality, cost-effective, and efficient product design and production. • Skilled in advanced mechanical engineering, including dimensional tolerance analysis and CAE simulations for thermal and mechanics.• Deployment of production-ready 3D models and technical drawings, ensuring that all designs meet industry standards and specifications, and that the models are suitable for mass production. Examples include CAD drawings for molded parts, CNC machined components, and assembled products. • Collaborated with Patent Agents and Attorney to elaborate the Innovation Description and Technical drawings required for the Patents and Trademarks.• Successful NPI by contracting Manufacturing, Certifications and Commercialization services.Projects: GEAR SHIFTER TOUCH SCREEN, ROBKEY, CARBI, CMS, LIQUID MASK, STRIDE, BD DEMO KIT.

As Technical Expert for SbW (Electronic Gear Shifter or Shift by Wire) increased in a 15% the components standardization and shorted in a 20% the development time by redefining the Company’s SbW Product Differentiation strategy and by working closely with the Styling Department.As Project Leader, successfully lead NPI from conceptualization to ramp up for several vehicle platforms, being some of the key responsibilities and achievements:• Defined, built and led a multidisciplinary Engineering Team including Mechanical, System, Software and Hardware design;• Responsible for the project development plan, schedule and cost with a budget of 800 k$;• Oversaw necessary engineering calculations, simulations and other engineering analysis to ensure the designs are proper for application; and trained the team about DFMEA, Lessons Learnt, Benchmarking, KPI’s, Root Cause Analysis among other activities;• Supervised the design and installation of the Equipment for Product Validation and Manufacturing, and generate ideas and clarify specifications by negotiating with team members, OEM and suppliers;• Ensured designs are developed in compliance with international standards and company regulations, such as ISO26262, FMVSS 102 and FMVSS 114.Projects: CHB125、CHB073、CH171B

Mechanical Engineering Master for Command and Control Business Unit. Leading the development of some strategic projects, as a part of the road maps activities of the Advance Engineering division. Responsible of Lessons Learnt, Design Reviews and Design Handbook for MT, AT and SbW gear shifters. Support product engineering local team in North America with RFQ's preparation and new developments. Acting as a global player working with the different regions to provide the required engineering support to new business development activities in Americas regions.

Engineering designer for Shifters (Automatic, Manual and Shift by Wire):• Technical responsibility from offer phase until start of production for Shifter programs.• Assign and track tasks to the team, such as testing, metrology, processes, and prototypes.• Technical customer window; presentation of technical status and improvements.Projects: Opel Corsa MT, Ford Focus MT, Renault Space SbW, Fisker SbW Push Buttons.

Design Engineer on Brake System projects being, technical responsibility on Design Changes release:• Design definition, creation of drawings, prototypes management and validation testing follow up.• Be the technical contact for customers and suppliers.• Finite Element Analysis, 3D model assembly and drawing creation with I-DEAS.

As Design Engineer on Aeroplanes Assembly projects (CATIA V5):• Dynamical assembly of components. Creation of drawings for manufacturing and assembling.• Participation in projects under the technical supervision of AIRBUS, BOEING and CASA.• Bill of Material creation and updating.As Simulation Engineer (ANSYS LS-DYNA):• Structural monitoring with ANSYS of structures and metallic and composite components.• Draft of technical reports on calculations and realized tests.• Participation in the project of development of an "Off-shore desalination plant working with Wind power".

Rapidly got familiar with the construction methods of the Bulthaup Kitchens, and learnt the different style and material options, what allowed completing the design of more than 20 projects per year: being the main responsibilities:• Meet with the customers and discuss about their needs and styling preferences.• Draft and sketch several design options and present them to the customers.• Inspect the area and meet with architects to discuss about the required electricity and water supplies.• Prepare the project with detailed bill of materials to be sent to the German headquarter to elaborate the order.• Quote and release projects of over k$ 500/year.
