Create logos or designs for awnings, channel letters, light boxes, a - frames, business cards, flyers, brochures etc. Had to make everything in proportion in life size and add all the descriptions on how we make it.

I was a produce department worker. Although I am Portuguese, I can speak and understand spanish so I was put in produce because I could speak with the fellow hispanic employees and manager and know what they want me to do. It was a very team dependant job as customers are always coming in so helping one another out was very key to our department. My job also consisted of bringing in the palettes of food with a jack and stock our freezer in a organized manner.

I was a carpenter assistant, but had the knowledge after my first year to be a carpenter. I build houses from the ground up and renovated them as well. I was given trust a lot of times to be a carpenter myself as I showed knowledge in knowing what to do. I've worked in New York City and all over Long Island. I am also a great team worker, where when building houses/apartments needs a lot of communication within one another to not get injured.
