Over the last 5 years, I've developed a solid background in software development, recently in mobile and backend applications, specializing in Ruby on Rails and Kotlin. My focus is on writing performant and clean code, fully backed by automated tests to ensure reliability and efficiency. As a bit of a personal quirk, I'm also an avid VIM user, which sometimes becomes the subject of friendly jokes among colleagues.When tackling difficult problems, I start by breaking them into more manageable pieces, planning strategically for an effective solution. Part of this strategy involves choosing algorithms that not only boost performance, but are also feasible within our time constraints. If I hit a roadblock, I seek input from my colleagues, believing that cooperative efforts often lead to the best outcomes.Currently, my work involves developing features and solving bugs for a complex system that is used internationally. This role requires me to engage directly with clients to understand their needs and discuss solutions, ensuring their requirements are met with precision. Additionally, I approach development from multiple angles—mobile, web, and API—to deepen my understanding of the software, thereby enhancing my ability to contribute to its growth and effectiveness.My passion lies in constantly learning and acquiring new skills, enabling me to create superior software and contribute more effectively to my projects. There's a profound sense of pride and joy I feel when writing clean, well-tested, and high-performing code.Beyond the world of programming, my passions extend to gaming—with a particular fondness for the Dark Souls series—and honing my musical skills. Currently, I am dedicated to improving as a pianist and actively participating in choirs. Much like the collaborative spirit of coding with colleagues, I relish the harmony and connection found in making music with others.
