• Assist the Director, IA in the preparation of an IA Plan, and in reporting on the status of the Plan’s execution to the Audit Committee.• Assist the Director, IA in the annual Internal Control evaluation requirement for CEO/CFO certification as required by the Canadian Securities Administrators’ NI 52-109, as well as in the preparation of the Internal Controls annual risk assessment, scoping and plan.• Execute, together with other IA Team members, processes for continuous risk rationalization, key Internal Controls identification/documentation for Management review and approval.• Execute the IA Plan for the European operations, providing the IA Team with support for other locations as required by the Director, IA.• Report conclusions regarding design and effectiveness of the internal control system to the Company’s Director, IA, supporting the reporting to the company’s CFO and the Audit Committee.• Perform follow-ups to monitor the implementation of action plans.• Support the Director, IA in the review of allegations reported through the Company’s whistleblower process and other relevant reports, especially with regards to financial related code of conduct matters, supporting any resultant investigations as required.• Assist the Director, IA in the execution of ad-hoc special assignments (studies, investigations, or other services) requested by members of Executive Management or by the Audit Committee, appropriately reporting and summarizing reportable concerns.• Maintain strong working relationships with the Company’s External Auditor teams at the local level, to ensure alignment in methodologies and coordination of assurance and investigation activities, to allow for maximum reliance on IA control testing.• Maintain strong working relationships with the other members of the IA Team, Management and Operations.• Execute IA testing protocols to ensure an appropriate level of scrutiny as well as a standardized testing approach across the organization.

• Prepare, together with Director, Risk Management, updates of a comprehensive risk-based audit plan for evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls (Internal Control over Financial Reporting and Extractive Sector Transparency Measures Act - US SOX and Canadian SOX environment).• Prepare risk-based audit plans directed at specific processes/sub-processes.• Perform monitoring of the Group’s internal control environment, working together with the Group’s European operations to assess the effectiveness of internal controls (Internal Control over Financial Reporting and Extractive Sector Transparency Measures Act), including review of control design and documentation, and control effectiveness testing.• Manage Finance staff performing internal audit work (Internal Control over Financial Reporting): preparation of work/audit programs; review of findings.• Prepare regular progress reports for local and central management, including issues and weaknesses identified, and recommendations for improvement.• Follow up on implementation of audit report recommendations.• Interface with external auditors in order to maximize synergies between Internal and External Audit.• Assist in the preparation of material for the Audit Committee and Board of Directors related to risk management and internal control.• Assist Director, Risk Management.
