I have an international background as I’ve lived in Brazil, Spain, and the U.S., due to which I’ve acquired excellent verbal and written communication skills in three languages, English, Spanish, and Portuguese. I now study Journalism and Communication with a Sports Journalism concentration at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.As a sports journalist heavily involved in student media, both in writing and broadcasting, I've quickly developed real journalistic skills and learned to create a wide range of content going from long and short-form writing to live sportscasting. I started with the Massachusetts Daily Collegian in the Fall of 2021 as a correspondent and eventually staff writer. After just one year I earned a promotion to an Assistant Sports Editor position, which I still hold today. The beats I have covered so far with the Collegian at UMass are men's soccer for two years, softball for one, and now going into year two of my main beat, men's basketball. I have broadcasted men's and women's soccer games with UMass Sports Network for ESPN+ and with the radio station at UMass, WMUA 91.1 FM, as a play-by-play and color commentator, as well as helped engineer broadcasts from the station's control room.
