Creative Producer
CurrentOverseeing all co-productions at an executive level including the financial, strategic, and managerial aspects of theatre projects. Managing artistic direction of well-established youth theatre programme. Responsible for:• Creating artistic strategy that identifies potential growth for theatre trust including working with Business Development team to secure funding for artistic projects.• Project manage all coproductions across the trust including production schedules, castings, recruitment, grant applications, setting tickets prices and organising regular meeting with creatives.• Provide financial support to accounts department such as quarterly reviews, staff payroll, budget management and forecasting, reconciliations, and invoice management.• Negotiate and issue contracts ensuring legal compliance including production team working hours and obtaining rights for projects.• Coordinating all safeguarding and risk assessments for in house and co-productions including DBS checks, BOPA applications, technical specifications, student and staff personnel information and chaperone licences.• Leading on all aspects of artistic direction of youth theatre programme (BYT). Managing staff, booking performance spaces, managing all socials (including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & TikTok), recruiting staff, communicating with parents & guardians.Key Contributions:• Developed partnerships with theatre and production companies to secure production projects.• Created inclusive and accessible participatory opportunities across all performance disciplines. Including designing and implementing new sleeve of training in technical theatre. • Through reprograming have doubled cohort of youth theatre programming. • Utilised the latest technologies, such as Teams, Zoom, and Google Hangouts to conduct team meetings and castings.
