Pedro Mourisca has been the Managing Director of Via Verde Portugal, Group Brisa's Mobility Access & Payments Unit, for the last 10 years. First, Pedro had the mission to revamp the company putting customers at the center and beginning a digital transformation process. Number of customers have thus grown by more than 100% and new market-leading digital services were launched. Second, Pedro led its business model transformation into a subscription-based model that has driven profitability to new levels. Finally, a new growth phase is being implemented both in terms of scope and internationalization, supported by new technologies and data-driven competences.Previously in Brisa, for 3 years as an expat, he was the acting Managing Director of BNV Mobility, a Dutch start-up that he helped launching, in the field of Mobility Services and urban congestion management. Before, he has also held the Strategic Planning Manager position in Brisa for 4 years.Prior to joining Brisa, Pedro was a strategy consultant with The Boston Consulting Group.Pedro holds an MBA honored with the “Top Student Award” from Kellogg School of Management (Chicago, USA) and a Mechanical Engineering Degree from Instituto Superior Técnico (Lisbon, Portugal).
