1. O Presidente representa a FPLA, assegura o seu regular funcionamento e promove a colaboração entre osseus órgãos.2. O Presidente da FPLA é, por inerência e simultaneamente, o Presidente da Direcção, e compete-lheespecialmente:a) Representar a FPLA junto da Administração Pública;b) Representar a FPLA junto das organizações suas congéneres, nacionais, estrangeiras ou internacionais;c) Representar a FPLA em juízo;d) Assegurar a organização e o funcionamento dos serviços, bem como a escrituração dos livros, nos termos da lei;e) Contratar e gerir o pessoal ao serviço da FPLA;f) Assegurar a gestão corrente dos negócios da FPLA;g) Solicitar ao Presidente da mesa da Assembleia-Geral da Federação, a convocação de reuniões extraordinárias deste órgão;i) Constituir as direcções técnicas necessárias ao regular funcionamento da FPLA e ao exercício das competências estatutariamente atribuídas ao Presidente, Direcção e Conselho de Arbitragem e Competições.

The CMLA is the Wrestling Association of the 26 Mediterranean countries spreading across 3 Continents. It's Aims and Principles of the Committee are:- To contribute to the promotion as large as possible to the wrestling practice in the Mediterranean basin. - To promote the necessary and useful contacts between the wrestling federations of the Mediterranean basin and to strengthen the ties of friendship between everybody, both sportsmen and managers.- To coordinate the projects of the Mediterranean basin federations aiming to establish meetings and exchanges.- To set the competition calendar, especially regarding the Mediterranean Championship. The Mediterranean Championship aims at raising the popularity of wrestling in all styles in the Mediterranean basin by the system of an attractive competition, signing up similar competitions of other sports to the habitual practice, attracting the public and the media to an exciting competition, allowing every national team to negotiate with the institutional and private partners.- To draw up the agenda of the Mediterranean conference which will be held every year.

Master Degrees Commission Tasks and Duties- To organize a World Conference with the national managers dealing with Master Degrees for the implementation of the system and the distribution of the necessary material (books, CD, Master Degrees, etc.)- To propose a fee for sitting an exam to obtain Master Degree. This fee could be used as wages for club coaches and national coaches teaching Masters Degrees.- To give information to United World Wrestling on all the Master Degrees obtained and the changes.- To disseminate periodically information on the development of the Master Degree system to the Press Department.- To propose multilingual posters and stickers for the promotion of the three wrestling styles which could be distributed free of charge to the National Federations.
