About Pedro Naia
I have completed the Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering (constructions profile) at the University of Minho in 2012 and since then I have performed different roles mainly in the international market. The most relevant roles for the open position were Project Manager and Country Manager (Belgium) of a construction company dedicated to the construction of major infrastructure works. I exercised functions as Country Manager from 2017 to 2020, managing to increase the annual turnover of around €2M / year. I was responsible for the business development and development and commercial relationships accordingly with the company's model to strengthen market presence, KPI’s management, achievement of the targeted volume of sales, and team management.I consider myself a resilient and dynamic individual who brings a combination of focus, leadership, and the ability to tackle problems, while never forgetting the importance of results. As a teammate, I consider myself to be kind and friendly and someone who wants to create value and share all success with other team members. I like to communicate and listen to others and exchange ideas and opinions. I am driven by passion and firmly dedicated to the projects I believe in, being constantly willing to grasp new concepts.After working as Country Manager, I detected the need to develop and reinforce some skills, having then opted for the international MBA at Porto Business School a full-time program. I believe that my entire journey has contributed to becoming a versatile professional with many of the skills and characteristics required in today's job market. All the professional experience acquired in the context of work combined with the knowledge acquired during the MBA training allows me to have a more strategic view of the business and a more comprehensive knowledge in areas such as finance, management and marketing.
