Completed an internship at the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna in the Biorobotics Research Center, where I had the privilege of contributing to an innovative project with a primary focus on the development of a visual prosthesis system. This project aimed to harness the capabilities of advanced neural networks to decode and interpret neural activity within the primary visual cortex of mice.• Developed a complex neural network model with the capability to decode and interpret neural signals from the primary visual cortex in mice.• Strengthened proficiency in Python, machine learning software, advanced imaging techniques, and the analysis of brain activity data. Utilized this knowledge to develop a highly optimized algorithm for interpreting complex brain activity patterns.
