Young Elected Politician (Yep)
CurrentThe Young Elected Politicians programme (YEPs) is a programme of the European Committee of the Regions destined for politicians no older than 35, who hold a mandate at the regional or local level in the EU.During this programme as a YEP, I will have the opportunity to participate in plenary sessions and thematic commission meetings of the European Committee of the Regions in Brussels, as well as in the Committee's summits and flagship events. Additionally, I will have the chance to engage in the European legislative process through consultations with the Committee's rapporteurs, participate in debates on the EU's priority policy agendas, and benefit from tailored training.The purpose of the network is to:• Exchange best practices among local and regional politicians;• Network with fellow young elected politicians from the EU in person;• Understand and seize opportunities offered by the European Union for local and regional areas;• Speak for EU regions and municipalities in the European legislative process;• Gain visibility in European circles.
