The Young Elected Politicians programme (YEPs) is a programme of the European Committee of the Regions destined for politicians no older than 35, who hold a mandate at the regional or local level in the EU.During this programme as a YEP, I will have the opportunity to participate in plenary sessions and thematic commission meetings of the European Committee of the Regions in Brussels, as well as in the Committee's summits and flagship events. Additionally, I will have the chance to engage in the European legislative process through consultations with the Committee's rapporteurs, participate in debates on the EU's priority policy agendas, and benefit from tailored training.The purpose of the network is to:• Exchange best practices among local and regional politicians;• Network with fellow young elected politicians from the EU in person;• Understand and seize opportunities offered by the European Union for local and regional areas;• Speak for EU regions and municipalities in the European legislative process;• Gain visibility in European circles.

1 month and a half summer legal internship with a lawyer from a portuguese legal network, focusing primarily on activities in the country's northern region, notably in the Porto district.• Analysed previous major cases, encompassing Portuguese tier-one law firms and class action lawsuits related to corporate civil liability involving multiple defendants and/or plaintiffs;• +220 hours of case materials examination, including procedural documents, litigation strategies, courtroom judgments, sentences, and agreements between parties;• +3 hours of presence in hearings and trials, gaining firsthand exposure to courtroom activity and judicial procedures.

MeuCapital Lda. was a start-up founded by José Costa Rodrigues during the Covid-19 lockdown with the aim of creating an educational platform focused on improving financial literacy in Portugal, through the creation and sharing of informative and educational content, from real-time news, articles, training and courses. After performing various functions in the company, as the Head of Community I've:• Co-Headed of a daily financial news website with 150,000+ monthly interactions, 65,000+ page views and 25,000+ unique users;• Recruited several people and directed a team of 150+ colleagues;• Co-coordinated a business development strategy, in several domains such as digital content, company's growth and more.
