Banco de Portugal is the central bank of the Portuguese Republic, as a member of the Banking Prudential Supervision Department I am part of:• Business model sustainability and profitability analysis of the Portuguese banking sector;• Assessment of institutions' Strategic and Financial planning and Funding and Capital Plans; • Conducting financial analysis and monitoring KPIs and regulatory compliance;• Assessment of Equity and Debt capital markets operations (regulatory compliance and secondary market monitoring);• Integrated the task force responsible for reviewing the guidance for Business Model analysis across the sector, within the scope of SREP.

As the largest Portuguese private bank and the only listed bank in Portugal, during my time in BCP’s Investor Relations Division I was part of:• Preparation and distribution of the Bank’s Strategic Plan, Earnings Presentations and Report & Accounts (quarterly and annual);• Preparation of institutional and strategic presentations for Board/CFO support;• Participation in Equity and Debt capital markets operations of over €1.5 bn in aggregated value (origination and secondary market monitoring);• The Bank’s relationship with Equity and Debt analysts (buy-side and sell-side), Institutional Investors, Rating Agencies and Shareholders;• Analysis of the European banking sector, financial markets developments and internal financial metrics, in order to forecast potential impacts on the Bank’s valuation; • The Bank’s relationship with Portuguese and European market regulators (ECB, Banco de Portugal, CMVM).

• Preparation of institutional and one-on-one/roadshows presentations;• Analysis and preparation of internal financial data and financial markets reports;• Benchmark and European banking sector analysis, with focus on financial markets and financial performance metrics.

CTT – Correios de Portugal is the largest Portuguese postal services company, as a Summer Intern in the Strategy and Corporate Development Department:• I was part of a project that aimed to analyse the European Postal Banking sector, given the recent launch of Banco CTT;• Benchmark and analysis of operational, profitability, capital, liquidity and asset quality metrics within the European Postal Banking sector;• Analysis of the different types of growth strategies (organic vs inorganic) adopted by the sector’s players; Shareholder structures; and banking/markets related products and services offered.
