Responsible for production of magazine reflecting the views of the Netherlands Officers Union as well as individual authors. Maintaining deadlines, ensuring received Word documents turn into printable matter, corrected and illustrated in PDF format, ready for printing. Readily available to support authors and prepared to write own opinion articles. Done as volunteer work after partial retirement from RNLAF.

Part time employed in selection of flying training candidates. Assist permanent staff in administering pilot aptitude testing for flight training candidates. Use of Alsim 102 simulator for Automated Pilot Selection System (GVSS). Assisted in adapting Alsim 102 selection program for Visual Flying Selection (VFS) program as replacement for Practical Flying Selection on Slingsby Firefly a/c. Assisted in developing VFS scenario's to determine which candidates are sufficiently capable to enter formal flying training program (EMVO) at Woensdrecht. Parttime position with civilian status. Due to reorganization of aircrew selection methods in RNLAF use of flight simulators for this purpose will be terminated.
