Coordinating carbon management and smart mobility research

Working on Adaptive Policies for Smart City Public Transport as a post-doc researcher at Radboud University, the Netherlands. The research is part of the Smart Cities’ Responsive Intelligent Public Transport Systems project (SCRIPTS). I also support the teaching at Radboud University as a lecture in System Dynamics.

• Works as assistance to Thailand’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). My main duties are:• Attending various meetings such as ISID (Inclusive and Sustainable Industrial Development) Forums and UNIDO’s policy making meetings.• Reviewing and monitoring EU industrial and energy policies related to Thailand and analyse their impacts.• Supporting the day-to-day running of the office and compose reports for the Industrial Ministry.• Editor of the office’s on-line magazine and its monthly newsletter.

- Undertaking a project on the implementation of Non-Motorized Transport Systems in the University of Chiang Mai Campuses and their vicinities, presented non-motorised transport examples and principle. Contributed toward drafting a transport master plan for the university.- Composed a research project proposal to use System Dynamics in optimising Rail and High Speed Rail (HSR) benefits, with Thailand as a case study in the context of the ASEAN Community. The study aims to formulate a set of policies that will compliment benefits and mitigate unintended effects of the development and the impact of the development assessed using System Dynamics’s qualitative and quantitative toolkits. The proposal drew interest from related organisations, such as Ministry of Science and Office of Transport and Traffic Policy and Planning, Thailand.- Undertook household mobility interview (Chiang Mai Mobility and Transport survey 2012). Planned and led a team, which captured the travelling behaviour of 2,319 households. Estimated the project's cost and recruited and trained field workers. Liaised with local authorities, partner organisation (Chiang Mai University) and community leaders. Screened, processed, and analysed the data using SPSS. Composed the project reports and distributed to relevant official bodies.

• Worked as a Trainee in the department of traffic and public transport system development and the department of traffic and transport information.• Attend various meetings and seminars related to the Bangkok Mass-transit master planning update project and Bangkok bus network system master plan project. • Assist project supervisor by checking the traffic and transport elements of the Pink, Yellow, and Brown mass transit route interim and final reports. Hold meetings with consultants to address issues. • Update Microsimulation model (Dynasim) of Pranakorn area (Old city),Bangkok from 2005 base year to 2009. Compose a report about the process with recommendation on further use of the model. • Attend various transport meetings organize by GTZ and ADB.

• Worked as assistance project manager on Parliament Square Improvement project• Coordinate and co-chaired project meetings and arrange internal consultation meetings• Liaison with designers on various aspect of the projects• work as a traffic engineer on various projects and aspects.• Take part on a tender review panel for TfL's project• Reviewed proposed improvement report, liaison with Islington Borough and composed responses with recommendation.• Composed business plan and TfL funding form for the project manager.

• Worked as a Traffic Engineer Consultant • Proficient in the following engineering package TRANSYT, LINSIG, ARCADY, PICADY, AutoCAD.• Skill involve are problem solving, investigating the cause of problem and identify mitigation or solution, investigate the impact of different design proposals, advise client on different solution, survey and monitoring traffic data, construct traffic model to represent current and proposed solution, report writing, cost-benefit analysis, accident analysis, feasibility study and client liaison.• Undertaking a 6-month secondment with Transport for London between November 2007 - April 08 and extended as agent until June 2009

• Worked as a graduate highway engineer, taking part in various project as a designer, using computer based software to design road and highway alignments.• Report writing, and assist project manager on the different aspects of projects.
