Managing the entire process of the Product and Collection Development of Profuomo shirts, a luxury menswear fashion brand. From the creative concept to the pre-production stage, technical construction and execution of the product, costing, vendor relations and strategic sourcing in Far East and greater Europe. From the Sketch Request form to Salesmen Samples, to the final delivery of the product and Quality Assurance, while consistently realizing financial goals.Business model based on a strong NOS program, Wholesale, Consignment, shop in shop, and own retail business. Vendor Management Inventory (VMI) and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) were essential tools for efficient and well managed processes and development.

What started as a temporary job as buyer for Giordano shirts, ended up as brandmanager responsible for productdevelopment, collection & concept for 2 brandnames of Verweij Fashion: Thomas Main & British Indigo. Thomas Main was built up from scratch in five years time and is now a succesfull & respected menswear label, known for it’s high quality shirts and knitwear. The revival of British Indigo was launched in 2015 after a take-over and took back it’s old position in the market for high fashion menswear in no time. Shirts, jackets and knitwear, fashion with a twist.

Peer and Company BV, a private label supplier of men shirts, blouses and kids shirts. Our customers were national and international departmentstores, chainstores and A-level brands. Peer and Company was a modern, no-nonsense company which offered flexibility, competitive prices, up-to-date fashion input and was performance driven. The entrepreneurship made me all round and resulted in a wide range of experiences in product management, strategic sourcing, buying and production management. I know how to direct and instruct creative people and how to translate demands into commercial products & concepts. Key accounts were handled by myself.

During this period with ARROW I worked as a (senior) product manager for shirts, pants and jackets. I sourced new factories in new countries and established a new quality standard. I re-structured the buying and production department and improved efficiency. This resulted in a substantial cost reduction and improved margin. I established a “Never out of stock” program for formal shirts. I was responsible for the marketing research, concept, production planning, stock monitoring and introduction. This NOS program became an important and commercial marketing tool and resulted in substantial turn-over growth and increased market share.
